Admonition (A) XX (B) B XI
Of the Frivolous and Talkative Religious.
Blessed is that servant who neither speaks through the hope of receiving a reward nor reveals everything they know.
Blessed is that servant who is not quick to speak and thinks carefully before answering.
Woe to those servants who do not keep the Lord’s revelations to them privately.
Woe to those servants who rather than show these revelations in their deeds, through hopes of a reward, tell everyone about them.
They shall have their reward and their hearers go away with nothing to show for the encounter.
